Hey I'm preggo at the moment but I would like to know if you can still breastfeed with an IUD in place?

Please let me know.

It is safe to have a copper IUD while breastfeeding because it contains no hormones, but not the Mirena.

Ditto what Kasie said - a copper IUD is fine, but not the Mirena

The most commonly used copper IUD is paraguard
