i am currently pregnant, so this wouldn't be for me yet, but i am still starting to think about it now. after this baby, my husband and i know we want to wait to have another child. i've already used bc pills in the past, and REALLY don't like them. however, i know that we want to wait at least 5 years before having another child, so my question is, what else could i use, that's fairly reliable? i don't want to rely only on condoms, and i heard with the iud that you could still conceive but miscarry, so idk if that one would really be an option for me.

i'm looking for a back up method to condoms basically. any suggestions?

Modern forms of Natural Family Planning are 99% effective, but without any side effects so you can be totally drug free. Modern NFP methods include: The Billings Ovulation Method, the Creighton Model, Marquette Model, Sympto Thermal Method. We've been using the Billings Method to avoid for almost 4 years now.
