On Teresa's post about breakfast, it reminded me about an article I read a while back.. I found that article amongst several other articles on similar studies.

It's not a long article, but I really suggest you read it.. It might help you out with your weight loss.


and here at the end of the article someone posted example of breakfast meals... I would however cut out the Butter they keep adding.. lol

Great article! I have gradually increased my breakfast and it has definitely helped me. I used to freak out and want to "save my calories" for lunch and dinner, but now I have found that if I eat a good breakfast I can eat smaller lunches and dinners. I find their results to be definitely true! I bookmarked that article to save their breakfast ideas. I needed some new ones. I get bored.

That is a great article. I don't a good breakfast at all. I am usually rushing to get everyone out the door and what not. BUT if it means better change for the long run.. I am willing to work on it.

It's so hard because I hate to eat breakfast. Well, I hate to eat when I am not hungry and I am never hungry in the mornings. I just need about 2-3 cups of coffee and I'm good. I have never been a breakfast eater. I am afraid that I would eat breakfast and then STILL eat lunch and dinner the same and it wouldn't help me.

Thank you for posting this! I know inside that I need to eat a better breakfast, but sometimes I'm just not hungry for it, or I just don't want to. I notice that I tend to eat very large dinners...and i think I should reverse that--I burn more calories in the morning than at night, so I need more energy in the morning.

Also, the researcher is from the university here in Richmond!
