I did good today! We had THREE Thanksgiving meals that we had to go to...yes, three. First one at my granny's at noon, 2nd one at my DH's granny's at 3:00pm, then again at my dad's house at 7:00. I did good though, I only ate ONE Thanksgiving meal, the noon meal at my granny's and I only ate one serving of each food that I ate which was turkey, dressing, a roll and okra..and I also had a small brownie for desert...but I avoided the carrot cake, which looked SOOO good loaded down w/ the cream cheese icing....however, I didn't eat any.
At the other two meals, I just told them I was full from before and didn't eat anything. So I'm proud of myself for not indulging. I promised I wouldn't...and I didn't!

How did y'all do?

I did really good too. I only ate once too.. turkey, lots of veggies, rice, mashed potatoe, potatoe salad, pumpkin pie and apple pie. I only ate very little portions.. except for the dessert. I had regular slices.. but I didnt go back for second.

I did ok. We had two dinners to go to. One was at 2:00pm and the other 7:00pm and at the first one I was so busy feeding my daughter that I really didn't go overboard at all. I had a lot of salad, a small portion of turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing and a lot of veggies like green beans and brocolli. I had a normal slice of pumpkin pie. At the second dinner I had a small portion of turkey and some corn but I did have a small piece of cake but it was actually really light and all organic. It was angel food with a whipped topping that I scrapped and whole pieces of blackberries, strawberries and blueberries so it wasn't bad at all! I still felt pretty full though. It's over now and we refused leftovers to take home so YAY!!!

Woohoo! I did good too! I almost thought I was going to lose it, but then I made some coffee and that was just what I needed to regroup.
