My goals -

Goal 1. 2009 minutes of exercise a month for every month in 2009!

Goal 2. Reach 22% body fat by March 2009 and maintain an 18-22% body fat for the rest of the year.

Goal 3. Run a 10K.

Goal 4. Do 50 consecutive push ups by the end of the year. (I'm working on my own plan for this one. The 100 push up challenge wasn't working for me and I am not going to feel guilty about it. I think it was designed for guys and it's going to take me a lot longer than 6 weeks to get up to 50. ) I'd like to get up to 3 sets of 50. I'm not really that concerned whether I can do 100 consecutive.

My only goal so far is 130 lbs, hopefully by Reid's first birthday (April 8). If I think of more, I'll come back and edit this.

Update Dec. 10/09 -- I did not reach my goal of 130 lbs but I began the year around 152 lbs and am currently 142 or so.....so at least I made progress, even if I haven't reached my goal yet. I'm not giving up and hope to get to 130 in 2010. I never anticipated the weight coming off SO slowly after Reid was born but for some reason, it's just taking forever.

- First and foremost.. lose all this weight by Christmas next year. I'm giving myself a full year to work off what i've put on in the past 4years.

- Research and select a ciriculum for my daughters homeschool program

- Make friends (real life friends.. lol I've been living here in Germany for almost 4years and I have yet to make a friend.. well I had one but her husband got stationed in Texas) *** I've made 4 friends as of March ***

- Complete P90 by February 24 *** COMPLETED ***

- Complete Jillian Michaels' 30day shred along with Burn Fat Boos Metabolism and No More Trouble Zones by April 9th

- Start P90x by April 13th

- Finish P90x by July 13th

My Goals:

-Lose 50 lbs by the June 1st [134 lbs]
-Lose another 10 lbs by Sept 10th [124 lbs]
-Lose another 4 lbs by Nov 1st [120 lbs]
-Be at my goal weight of 120 lbs by Dec 1, 2009! [64 lbs total lost]

-Run my 1st 5k sometime in the year 2009, when I feel fit enough to do one & there is one

I would like to :

**maintain a regular workout schedule that I follow consistantly

**continue following and maintaining a healthy diet

**be able to jog a mile

**be able to complete a spinning class

**reach my current goal weight of 165 ( 55 lb loss)

get in 300 miles this year, I'll increase once I reach my goal
lose 10lbs by the end of January=180 lbs
reach 175lbs by end of February
buy and wear size 12 jeans into my first IVF treatment
watch high-sugar carb and fat intake
drink 3 cups of water each day
get hugely fat and pregnant, then lose it all

*I want to wear a size 3 again. In 6 years i went from a size 3 to 13

* Be fit not just skinny

* look great in bikini... I want to make a calender for my husband!! birthday..

* most of all just have a healthy life style

I want to be at least 60lbs lighter.

I want to look good in a wedding dress.

I want to maintain exercise everyday and join a gym if possible.

And off topic from weightloss but my other goal is to no dye my hair till right before my wedding.

Goals for 2009

12% body fat At 15.5% as of 11/23, so down 3% since January 1. If I focus, maybe I can get that last 2.5% in the next month.
Bench Press 200 pounds Not Going to happen this year.
Improve cardiovascular endurance to below 100 bpm on 3 minute step test
Improve flexibility to 30+ inches on sit and reach test At 28" as of 11/27, up 3 1/2 inches from January 1. And I have a month left to get the last two inches!
Finish Associates Degree in Allied Health/Sports Medicine Done!
Begin Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training Major changed to Exercise Physiology, but Done!
Complete pay off of all vehicles / Buy new car so I can give mine to DH and DH's to DS Done!
Complete home remodel (master bath, new floors, ac, outside paint and landscaping) Put off til next year. Some of it is started, but none of it is finished. LOL
Build gym out back Put off indefinitely. Gotta finish the house first.

As far as weight is concerned, here are my goals.
- Loose 30 lbs by June 30 (makes me 168lbs)
- Loose another 30lbs by Dec. 30 (makes me 138 lbs)
- Loose another 13 or so lbs by Marh 30 2009 (leaves me at 125)

Eating wise, exercise - and thinking skinny (in other words, whatever works!)

I'll be back on here full steam probably in March after I have my baby on 1/22, so here goes...

~Lose 50 pounds from April to December (average of 5 pounds/month, my pre-preggo average) to get pretty darn near my goal weight of 135.--I plateaued a lot for some stupid reason.
~Pay off our credit card and if we use it again, pay it off monthly.--Our finished basement flooded, so we had to put about $6k on the credit card to get it cleaned up and get a new furnace.
~Read at least five new books for fun.
~Install a dishwasher in our kitchen.--too high of credit card bills
~Work with Aiden on a preschool curriculum until I go back to work in August (at least 3x/week).--didn't do as much as I would have liked, but I did try at least once/week to work with him

There are many reasons that these aren't going to work, so I'm going to give reasons above. I do have a few things I want to do between now and 2010 though.
~Run 45 miles+
~Run a 5K
~Lose another 10 pounds to bring me to 158 for the year

~ Lose 50 pounds (at least) ~ Nope.
~ Lose 25 of that before May 20th (I am going home to see my family for the first time in over 2 years) ~ Nope
~ Eat healthier every day ~ sort of. Not every day, but I do eat healthier.
~ Drink more water, and cut out all but the occasional glass of soda ~ EHH, not so much. Did really well UNTIL I went back to work. Being around it constantly.... I'm drinking too much soda again.
~ Be able to jog the bike trail in town out and back (total of 4 miles) ~ Got to the half way point and then moved. Could possibly do it now, but don't know.
~ Be able to ride my bike from home to the trail, out and back, and then back home (total of 6 miles) ~ Embarrassed to admit that I rarely ever even got on my bike all year.

~ $1500 in savings by the end of the year ~:exc ited: I actually did this one. We've since spent it (down payment on our house!) but I did do it!
~ Survive the trip home without getting into a major fight with my scumbag future BIL. (LOL) ~ Well, I didn't get in a fight with him! We also didn't end up making the trip home though. lol

Ok here are my goals for now...to be edited later...

~ Weigh 170 by March [46lbs to lost] with LOTS of hard work and good eating habits!
~ Weigh 150 by June 16th (our 2nd wedding anniversary) [20 lbs. to lose from March]
~ Weigh 145 by August [5 lbs. down from Anniversary]
~ Weigh 140 by October [Another 5 lbs down]
~ Weigh 130-135 by Christmas [Another 5-10 lbs from October]

*My short term goal for now is to Weigh 195 by Feb. (I know it sounds crazy, but I have found I lose the first 30-40lbs easily)...

Non-weightloss goals....

~ GET PREGNANT!!! I am praying by the two year mark (June 16th, 2009)
~ Buy a house!
~ Settle into good jobs and a great life!! (since we just graduated College)

My goal for 2009 is to loose 30 pounds. I am 5'7'' and am currently wearing a size 8 jean but I would like to get down to a size 6 maybe even a 4 simply because I would feel better about myself.

I have been kick boxing 5 mornings a week and doing the treadmill 5 nights a week so here is hoping the pounds start dropping off.

~I want to be more organized. I don't know how to handle excess papers and things like that. I need improvement so it's less overwhelming.

~Work on reading the bible every night and memorizing more scripture.

~Participate in a marathon!

~Be 100% debt free (with the exception of a house and if we get a 2nd car which should be rolled into the mortgage anyways)

~Buy a house

~Potty train DJ before his 2nd birthday (june 18th)

~establish savings for the kids and a larger savings fund for emergencies.

~Learn how to bake better (from scratch) and cook lighter, delicious recipes.

~Weigh no more than 160 or be a size 12 or less. ***reach 175 lbs by March 4th*** which is a loss of 15 lbs in 2 months.

- Put my needs first, or at least more often

- Surrender to the process of living the kind of life I desire (i.e. appreciate work outs, eating healthy, being thankful for good health, respecting my body, ect)

- My goal weight is 130 pounds (which would be another 75 pounds to lose for 09) To be truthful, I'm not going to put a restriction on that goal because I want to celebrate and appreciate every step and accomplishment instead of focusing on something "ideal". I guess what I am saying is, that yes, 130 would be nice but every pound is a success and being a perfectionist, I have to focus on the task at hand.

- Make a tentative 5-10 year plan

- Be off all caffeine, besides green tea

- Limit alcohol to special occasions only (that one is going to be hard being as often as I socialize w/ drinkers, but learning a new way to let loose and have fun is very important)

Goals for 2009:

Fit into pre-prego jeans by March, 30 (My birthday.)
Fit into my skinny jeans by December, 25th, 2009.
Be healthy and continue to breastfeed.
Get my family on a flexible schedule and chore chart.
Stop shopping like a crazy person, and start saving more money.
Start grocery shopping according to a plan, so I can stop wasting money.
Complete two Bible studies.
