How do you guys find the energy to do everything?

I know that when I'm working out some days its REALLY hard and I have no energy and I end up not giving it my all (like with 30 day shred) so is that why I'm not seeing results? There are days when my energy is zero but I workout anyway! Those days I usually just walk on my treadmill for 40-45 minutes at 4 mph. Anyway how can I get my energy levels up? I do get enough sleep at night (7-8 hrs)

i have the same problem, i keep telling myself to take a multi-vitamin, but I have a hard time with big pills do you take one?

some weeks i am good some weeks I am not. I think these r the weeks that count the most and I just DON'T have it in me. I am at least trying though. It sucks cause i wanna do it so badly! I notice though when i go thru a spell with a funk, i normally get some motivation somewhere and then I kick butt. Maybe because we did so well January we are slacking lol

why not eating a banana or a cup of yogurt right before your workout.. that should give you a boost of energy.... when I'm lacking enegry i just dig deep... and I mean.. some times I have to dig really really deep.. those are the days that DH pushes doing our workout at 1am in the morning... so you can only imagine.

When I do my workouts I picture myself at my goal... i look around the rooms where I have pictures of my kids... I think about things I want to get done... find something to think about that makes you feel good and you'll see yourself doing that extra squat or situp... at least that's what helps me out.

It could be overtraining or lack of proper fuel. Overtraining is when you're body is at its max for exercise and you push on and don't allow the rest and repair time that it needs to heal the microscopic tears you are putting in your muscles from exercise. This is why you need at least 1 or 2 rest days a week. As for fuel, it could be a lack of calories, or a lack of carbs. I'd look at what you are doing and make sure you are getting those rest days in and if you are, then I'd look at your eating.

I use energy drinks.
I don't get the chance to work out until later in the evening, sometimes as late as 9 or 10 pm, so I definitely need the pick me up.
The kind of energy drink I use now is called Redline, Triple Berry (I only drink 1/4th of a can at a time). My DH uses stuff called Shock Therapy. It's not for every one though. They carry heavy warnings only to use them if you're positive you're in good health, no heart problems, no diabetes, that kind of thing.
