I'm going to be joining a gym at the end of the month. This gym offers the circuit training similar to curves. They also have the free weights and the machines not in a circuit. (cardio also)
( I think thats what its called at least)

My question is: Is it better to do the 30 minute circuit workout or to do the stand alone machines taylored to my bodys needs?

Tailor it! Curves is a great program for beginners or people with injuries (hydraulic machines were origianlly designed for physical therapy), but not the best workout for people who are already in pretty good shape. It's just too easy for you! That being said, it might be okay for a light day when you just aren't feeling like you are up to a workout. And if it is a circuit with regular adjustable machines, you can make it more intense to use it for a regular workout. Circuit training is a good way for exercising, but only if the machine intensity is high enough for you.
