I am now on a weigtloss journey after having my baby 10 weeks early. I was due on the 23 of Jul and had my son on the 18th of May, while I was vosoton my mother on Georgia. I actually live in Virginia so we are staying in the Rpnald McDonald house. It is really hard to eat healthy and exercise while I am here. Since I am in the military there is a near by gym that I can use for free so starting today I will be going there twice a day whenever I take time away from the NICU. I wlll post pictures and measurements tomorrow and starting weight. I weigt 175 at delivery and today I weight 161, so my starting weight will be 161. Thanks ladies.

Hi Sharita, congrats on your LO and i hope that everything works out wonderfully. U must be in my part of Virginia..well i know there are bases everywhere but there's a high possibility you're in Hampton Roads...

anyhow i am Pamala one of the cohosts. I have lost 47 lbs (just about) and am currently 164 lbs, looking to be 145 or at least a size 8/10 and build some nice tone.

U can definitely get the weight off, just start eating right and add some exercise in there. Sometimes adding exercise and just avoiding stuff like sodas, fried foods, big portions etc.. will help.

Welcome to the board! I'm Tonya, your other co-host and a certified personal trainer and sports nutritionist. I'm also in Georgia, South Georgia, WAY South Georgia! LOL What part of Georgia are you visiting? I think there are RMD houses in Atlanta and Macon, but I'm not sure about anywhere else. Glad to hear your LO is doing well.

So, what has your doctor cleared you to do this early. Normally, they don't clear you for major exercise until 6 weeks, so I'm surprised to see you going back to the gym so early. Personally, I was one who was right back at it at 2-3 weeks, but I didn't have any isses with birth. So, if the birth was easy on you, then its entirely possible to be back so soon, just be careful not to overdo it the first few weeks. If there is anything we can help with, just let us know.
