What are your goals and the steps you need to take to achieve them for August?

Goal: Lose 5-7% body fat Haven't checked yet, but I doubt it as I haven't followed the steps to achieve this goal.

Steps: Workout 5-6 days a week either at home or in the gym.

Goal: Get in a routine with going to the gym. Nope Just too crazy this semester.

Steps: Not quite sure on this one. The problem is that the gym is at school which is 2 hours away from home and I'm booked at school from 11am to 8pm every day that I drive down there. In order to get a workout in, I'm having to leave the house by 7am and since I don't get home until 10pm then have to eat and stuff before going to bed, I just don't always get enough sleep to get up at 6am to get ready to go. But I guess the steps would be to get my lazy butt up at 6am regardless of it being Midnight before I get to sleep.


Goal: Lose 5-7% body fat

Steps: Workout regularly. This will happen because I start weight training, martial arts, and yoga on the 17th, so I'll be getting 7 hours a week of exercise without any problems.

Goal: Do all of my assignments on time once the new semester starts.

Steps: Go to class daily, schedule study time, and JUST DO IT!

August Goals:

Lose 1 pound a week or more

Steps: continue eating right and exercising

Don't consume any junk food (other than ONE piece of cake at Jaiven and Maliyah's birthday party)

Steps: Don't buy any junk food when I go grocery shopping, and don't buy any from the machines at work. After the party is over, send cake home with everyone who wants it, and throw the rest out.

August Goals-

Goal-lose 10 pounds (coming off quicker b/c of breastfeeding)

Steps- Continue breastfeeding my 4 week old, eat healthy without over-eating, work out 3-4 times a week starting this week. (I'm going Monday to join a fitness center).

my goal for august is to lose 5-7lbs i want to be 185ish by Sept 1 thats 7lbs

July Goals:
~Exercise 3x on vacation. (did paddleboat, walk, and walk/jog)
~Get down to 177. I'm at 177.6 as of this morning.
~Finish at least two books. I got 1.5 done reading.

August Goals:
~Get under 175. My weight's been slow leaving, but I think when I return to work and am walking around more, it'll start coming off more easily. Plus, I'm doing well with my jogging and joining a gym.

~Finish reading my family health book.

~Get to where I'm jogging at least 32/40 minutes. I'm up to 22/40 right now as of 7/31.

~Get to where I'm wearing size 14s or under only.

I didn't make any goals for July.

August goals
Finish marathon!
Keep running at least 3 times a week after marathon (not including recovery week)
Maintain current weight
Reduce or eliminate episodes of binge eating

avoid trigger foods and eat enough calories in the day to prevent hunger from leading to binge eating
use support system for avoiding stress eating
lower my weekly mileage to avoid running burn out and add other fitness activities for variety

I had no goals either. I would like to continue to loose 1-2 pounds a week, but not so much my wedding dress doesn't fit for being too big. My main goal is to loose as much as possible between now and Aug 17th, my next OB/GYN appt.

Goal: Lose 15 lbs

Steps: Eat healthy and do 3 miles on treadmill 6 days/week

Goal: Fit into my size 9s

Steps: Stay motivated!

Didn't rejoin til this month, though I didn't meet my July goal.

August I want to be at or under 172lbs.

Steps: Stick to my diet and continue with my personal trainer. Also try to up the cardio.

I wasnt here for July but here are my August goals...

Be under 180 by 8-31-09.

eating only when I'm hungry - not overeating - eating foods high in fiber - staying away from sweets *my weakness*

Cardio 3x per week

I just need to get out there and do it! Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays!
