Do you have other family members that work out or are in good shape? Has your family influenced you good or bad when it comes to fitness?

I think most of my family members help me. I don't live close to my brothers but I believe most of them work out and then my sister has been fit off and on for a long time. I used to get annoyed talking to my sis about fitness stuff because I wasn't interested but now that I am trying to get fit too she has been so helpful. It's just nice to have support.

DH hasn't been working out, but I'm still hoping that will change. The kids stay active but not consistently, just when they feel like it. My mom and sisters are active, but they live too far away to really be supportive in practical ways.

My daughter is in soccer so that's one way she gets exercise. Hubby doesn't do anything. Really, just me right now. We do need to start being more active as a family though....can't wait for the warmer weather!

no one in my family works out...my FIL works out a few months out of the year, loses weight, then stops, eats like crap, gains it back, repeat cycle.
my husband run and cycles. he lost 50lbs after he started cycling (we were both overweight when we met). we're hoping our LO will cycle and run with us! we also do some hiking if that counts.

My DH used to workout, and says he wants to start again. My mom and I go to the gym together some, and although SIL lives away, she issue gym go- er too.
