Dh and I are both home during the day and we homeschool so all our kids are home with us pretty much all the time. When dh isn't here I sometimes have a hard time getting my workout done because Shawn likes to be with me and get in my way. But, most days my older kids help watch him and we don't have any problems. It's just when dh isn't around to reinforce things that I have problems.

If I'm working out at home, I do it when the youngest two are napping. The oldest two like to workout with mommy so thankfully our living room is large enough that I'm not kicking them or anything The hardest part was them trying to use my dumbbells every time I turned around, so they got their very own 1lb weights for Christmas

I'm in a similar situation, with a bunch of homeschooled kids who are home all day most days. It was really hard in the beginning, but it has been a few years and it's hardly ever a problem anymore. When I go out for a run the older kids are in charge of keeping the littles out of trouble. If I work out at home they almost never get in my way. I guess they finally figured out that a sweaty mommy is a happy mommy.

I have to get up early before everybody else wakes up to get my workout in. If my kids are awake there is no working out. One is 3 and one is 11 months so I can't workout when they are around. I usually get up an hour before they do so I can workout and then when they go to bed at night if DH and I are not having fun..lol. then I will do a 20 minute ab workout.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

Yep. The problem is I have to wait until DH gets home from work so he can watch them so I can run, or I have to pay the sitter to watch them.

Thanks Jaidynsmum!!
