For those of you who work out both inside and outside, do you have a pair of workout shoes for each....one pair that only gets worn inside and one pair for all the outside workouts?

I'm trying to decide if I want to get a 2nd pair. Where we live out in the country there will be a lot of dirt and gravel getting stuck to my shoes. I'm not sure I want to track that into my workout room. I don't know how much I'll do outside workout wise, so am even considering using my old workout shoes for that (but they seem to irritate my knees so not 100% liking that plan)

I have a pair of Brooks (fitted) running shoes for outside. When I do exercise videos inside, I go barefoot. I feel like my shoes are weighing me down otherwise. When I use a piece of equipment, I usually just use my regular tennis shoes (can't remember if they're actually for walking/running/what).

Thank you, peimum, for my beautiful siggy!

Yes, in the summer I keep a separate pair of running shoes that do not get used for other workouts. For indoor workouts I either use a pair of "retired" running shoes, or barefoot.

I've been debating getting a 2nd pair for outside. I like the idea of having separate ones since I don't want to track the dirt in the house.

Well I don't really workout outside so I don't need them. I have been working out in shoes more often though and wouldn't mind an extra pair for that. That said, if I was a runner or something like that I would probably invest in a second pair for outside.
