Up until this year I never really exercised to lose weight and controlled my weight mostly from diet. So for me, I would say diet had more to do with my weightloss than exercise. But now, I think I am burning a lot of calories during my workout and I'm eating more so I think I am seeing more results from exercise now. But I think diet is still probably more important for me. If I start eating too much my weight starts creeping up even if I am exercising.

I would definitely say both. I never realized how much my portion sizes were off---especially my dinner like white rice, pasta etc. I was definitely overeating...

I also know exercise has helped too, because I wasn't nearly as active before either. Before I had kids, I would work 40 hours a week and I really didn't work out much. Now that I am a SAHM I am finding more "me" time and that has really helped me get my workouts done.

Over the years I've found that exercise makes more of a difference for me. I don't usually see much weight loss if I'm not e exercising, even if I'm eating right. Both are important, though.

Diet, hands down. My goal is to find my maintenance when I get there and not have to log onto MFP anymore.

I'm not sure if one has played more of a roll than the other for me. I think they have both equally helped me to get where I am now.

Mostly diet. But I think exercise has made it go a bit faster than it would have otherwise.

They both played a major role for me, but if I had to choose I would definitely say exercise.

both for me.....because I can't loose weight with just diet alone.....I maintain pretty well (will gain a couple pounds without exercise if I keep counting calories) I am one of those people who really have to work at it and keep working at it to even stay at my current weight it's a little depressing sometimes and I think "UGH why do I have to work so hard at this!!!"
