Hey everyone, I have been lurking here now for a couple of days. I am 22 years old and have an almost 7 month old. The last time I was "skinny" (or better yet at my ideal weight) was oh gosh maybe when I was 15! Everyone on my mom's side of the family is over weight and my mom and I are the only ones who have never been way over weight because we worked out a lot when I was a teenager. My ideal weight is the 125 I use to be. I guess what happened with me was when I met my ex he could eat everyone on the water and I would just continue to eat like a fool with him and I gained a lot of weight. Another one of my problems is I gained weight from the pill and never lost it. Now being married to someone who is a twig and having a baby I feel fat =(. I get depressed about it sometimes and tell myself I can't eat but I know that will not do anything except make me way unhealthy. My starting weight of my pregnacy was 158 and I gained 30 pounds with my son. Now I know I have lost some weight, but I am afriad to see where I am at on the scale because I am back on birth control. So I want to join this forum and try to start my road to weight loss, if anyone has any suggestions...the box is always open. I tried to portionise my food and that didn't work. It is nice to meet you all

Hi Amy! Welcome to the board. You will find lots of support here. I am trying to get back to my prepregnancy weight. I just started exercising August 9th. I am terrible at dieting so I'm not doing that yet. I also watch my portions, cut out most junk food, cut back on my sodas, and try not to eat 3 hours before bedtime. I am hoping that is enough. But I exercise a ton. I also get depressed about it sometimes. That is what motivated me to do this. What exercise do you plan to do? What diet or diet changes do you plan to make? I do walking for exercise. I cant wait to get slim with you.!

My name is Crystal(36) I have one daughter Emilee(14 months) and need to lose about 40 lbs. My ultimate goal is 77 total. This is a great group and I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. Keeping a food journal has helped me. Writing down everything you eat makes you accountable and you will be surprised at what you consume as well. I know I was. Activity is also good, any form, even if it is just walkiing.

Looking forward to getting to know you and losing weight with you.

I'm Jill, mommy to a 10 month old little boy named D'Andre. I'm currently trying to lose about 15 more pounds. I hope you love it here as much as I do!
