I am hoping others need it too, but I really really need this board. Ok, I'll start with that I used to be in decent shape, but have just gotten really overweight with the last two kids. My dh has horrible eating habits, but he is still thin. My one ds is seriously overweight and then I have another dd that looks like she may be following the same pattern. I was not an overweight child, but I am not happy with the direction things are going with my kids. They are slugs and inactive. Our diet has gotten really poor over the years, eating more and more takeout. I really want to change that. I haven't hosted a board in a long time, but decided I really needed this board so that I would go ahead and host it. If I find that it's too much for me, I promise I will step down and free the spot up for someone else. Anyhow, that's my intro.

That is exactly the direction I wanted this! I wanted the gals that didn't want to lose weight to be here too. The focus hopefully will be on changing your entire family's habits. I did add the weigh-ins for those that need to lose weight too though.

I am a huge proponent of family fitness although I just recently had a child (Dec. 05). I was a health teacher and athletic trainer for years and really hate to see how computers, video games, and television monopolize our time. I am excited that there is a board dedicated to this!!
