Good morning all,

I'm looking for some recommendations of new exercise DVDs to try. I prefer something that's active and good for cardio, rather than something like yoga. Although, if anyone can recommend a good Pilates one, I don't mind doing that.

I need something new to kick-start me! I'm finding it hard to get motivated at the moment. Oh, and if there's something that's time-friendly, that would be good too! Between work and uni, I always seem to be short of time, as there's always something more important to be done than exercise.

I do fit some exercise in most days, as I walk to and from work (20 minutes each way) and I don't own a car, so DH and I walk everywhere. But that no longer feels like exercise, it's just part of my normal routine ... so I don't think that counts anymore.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Nichola

I enjoy doing Windsor Pilates, but I'm also looking for a good cardio-aerobic DVD to balance it with through out the week.

I like pretty much any Denise Austin videos. She is always so upbeat (sort of chessy) and fast paced.

I have heard the biggest loser ones are good but I have never done one myself.

Fit Mama - Post natal workout dvd has cardio, pilates, yoga and stretching and its divided into chapters so if you only have time for 20 mins. of pilates you can just do that chapter. I got it at toys r us for about 15-20$ CDN.

Thank you for all your suggestions! I'll have a look at them all and try and pick something to buy.

I like Denise Austin, I have the personal workout one and I love it!! Yes she is kinda cheesy, but her workouts are good and upbeat. I like this one b/c you can do the cardio which is about 20-30min, and you can do a toning after. But I like Denise Austin everybody else doesn't seem to get me going as much as she does!! HTH!!
