Well everyone I am ready to start to lose this weight. I am not sure where to start!

My problem is with me being in pest control it is hard to take a lunch I always end up eating out. I do drink a lot of water but I got to get my butt started HELP!!!!

I think everyone is different in their weightloss plans..

Some do Weight Watchers, South Beach, Calories Counting, Fat Counting..different plans work best for different people...

Try to find what plan you know that you can stick to the easiest..

For me South Beach worked Best

For several on this board..weight watchers has worked best...

If you eat out at lunch, have a salad (easy on the dressing) or something light...
That is what I usually do when I eat out, but on occassion I do treat myself to a good fattening meal...i feel that I deserve it sometimes Ya know those times when those salads just don't look so good.

Or if you go to a place, get a wrap instead of a burger..you would be amazed at how little things like that can make a huge difference.

Drink water instead of soda...
if you still have to have your soda, drink diet instead of regular..but I would still cut the diet down a little.

Look at is as a life changing decision...it is for your health...don't look at is a Diet because that is almost a sure failure to some people.

Never say you can't have something..just simply say you don't want it..
For me if I say I can't have it, I am on a "diet" then that makes me want it more..

So I just play tricks with my body I guess you could say and just say..
I don't want it

LOL!! Sandy! We've got to quit meeting like this!! I was just getting ready to make my first post here and I saw your post!

We must have the same thought processes! LOL

If we aren't going to TTC together, we can lose weight together, right??

hiya sandy! welcome.

everyone's body is different and reacts to different eating choices differently. for me it is weight watchers. i tried it, it worked so i stuck with it.

start with the small things, like samantha said....water instead of soda or diet if it is a must. get some lemon or lime or orange in your water to give it some taste if you like that. this right here, for me is a KEY. i only drink water and it has made SOOOO much of a difference in my weightloss and maintaining.

opt for the healthier choices when you eat out. honestly, there are basically NO excuses for eating bad when you eat out cause almost EVERY place out there now has a healthier choice of food on the menu. and GOOD yummy stuff too!

check out this website, even if you aren't choosing to do weight watchers, it is still a great place for info on some healthy foods. and if you choose weight watchers, then this site will be perfect for it.

Hi Sandy! and welcome! like the ladies said above start small. start with replacing poor food choices for better ones. like instead of chips try already prepared cut up veggies.. (I do that when I get home from shopping) or yogurt or pretzels or popcorn, and like Val mentioned try diet instead of regular. and as for exercise. start by taking the stairs instead of the elevator, getting up to change the channels on the tv instead of the remote. going for a walk around the block after dinner. start small do your research into different programs and choose what is best for you! good luck!
