Its like i do really good like the first week or two on my diet and then bam PMS comes and then everything goes hay wire. In my neuro-psychology class my teacher was talking about alot of woman in the U.S. crave for chocolate and carbohydrates at certain times during their cycle. And this is definitely me. i don't just crave chocolate but anything sweet i can get my hands on. And when af is on i notice i'm a little more hungry which i read a few years ago that we burn more calories during our af which could be the result of why we want to eat more (replace the extra calories we are burning). I just wish there was some type of supplement that could take away these cravings. Besides that i do real good. it pains me because i know so much about dieting and exercise. My mom was a nutritionist and fitness instructor and a certified health nut lol. So i know what i have to do to get this weight off its just hard to put that in motion. (sorry ladies, just wanted to vent)

I hate AF too! I actually am okay during it, but the scale doesn't show that. Ugh!

One of the many reasons that my endometrial ablation was the best surgery I ever had--no AF!!! I remember those miserable feelings though, of bloat and no energy. Do you supplement with iron? That really helped me with the no energy part anyway, because I was having a state of induced anemia from AF. Luckily, no AF=no anemia for me, so that has totally gone away. Good luck feeling better!
