When I first started working on losing my weight I was in a huge hurry to get it off. Now, that I feel like this really is a life long commitment I am finding myself less in a hurry about it. As long as I am eating well and exercising 4 or so times a week I feel good about it and don't worry about things. I really want to reach my goal weight by this summer, but I am also not feeling a huge hurry about things any more.

Yes. I am the same way. I used to want to reach my goal weight by this summer. Then, it turned into by October, and now, I can see Christmas or the new year being when I will get there. I originally had goal weights and dates in mind, but now I don't have the dates anymore.

Thank you, peimum, for my beautiful siggy!

I think that is just a sign of it being a true change in lifestyle for you and not so much a "diet" mentality. I know I was super fired up and in a hurry when I first started losing weight but then once I got it off, it hasn't been near as important to me but just a part of my daily routine.
