I don't want to think about, much less go cook, dinner. Don't get me wrong, I don't want my family to go hungry. Most of the time I love going into the kitchen alone, turning my TV on and shooing everyone out while I work my magic on the food, but then there are days.......................................

I hear ya! Sadly though because of my disease and special diet, even when I have days like that, I STILL have to cook because I can't order anything or go out for dinner. There are a few expensive places I can eat, but we save those for special occasions. If I am desperate I will have Dh and Emily have something ordered for them and the I will cook something for the baby and I.

I usually don't enjoy cooking dinner. I might like it more if it didn't come at the end of a busy day when I'm tired and just want to sit down and relax. I think I'll enjoy it much more when the kids are older- much older- and I have the kitchen to myself. For now I usually have to cook with the baby on my hip and preschoolers at my feet which doesn't make it any easier.

So I totally hear you. But I do cook every day anyway. On the days I just can't bring myself to do it no matter what, I ask Dan to bring something home on his way home from work.
