We went over to Doug's parent's house today and I discovered that they had a new laser printer still in the box. I was like what do you have a laser printer for?!?!? Apparently, whenever FIL's old company went out of business they basically gave away the computers and office supplies. Well, my FIL got the laser printer. I was like why do you have a brand new laser printer and not using it?!?! (Knowing b/c they obviously didn't have a need for a laser printer!) I jokingly told him that he should donate it to Eathan and Garrett's school and he said OK!! I have a brand new laser printer still in the box!! It only prints black and white and it's an older model of course, but it's a HP and it's brand new!! I'm so excited I almost jumped up and down, but I didn't want to irritate my sciatica! Anywho, I'll be hooking it up tomorrow and printing lapbook stuff like a crazy woman!!!

I realized the need for one when we have only done 2.5 lapbooks and I'm low on ink. I'm just over the moon!!

Awesome!!!
My next printer is going to be a laser printer. I'm asking for one for Christmas. The one I currently have is TEN YEARS old! It's an HP too, so you know they take a lickin' & keep on printin' lol.

waaaaahhh!! We got it hooked up and working and we think the toner cartridge has went bad from sitting for 3+ years. It prints LOTS of black all over the page and every troubleshooting thing we've read says that it's more than likely the toner cartridge. I was really looking forward to using a ream of paper today! I'm still excited over my printer, but now I have to wait a couple of days to pick up a new print cartridge.
