Hope my 6 mo old has been playin with her left ear all night. Can that be a sign of teething, or should I worry about an infection? No fever or crying.

I am not a fan of giving my baby antibiotics just yet.

Could be either. I would just watch her for signs of infection. She may have just found her ear and think it feels pretty neat. LOL Could really be nothing at all.

Yup. Watch her. Even if it's an infection most are viral and go away on their own and don't respond to antibiotics at all.

I know, but I know if I take her to the doctors they will want to dump antibiotics down her 'just in case'. She hasnt been doing it much today so I think we are OK.
