How was everyone's weekend? Do anything fun?

We had friends over Saturday and the guys put 2 new windows in! We are SLOWLYYY replacing all the windows.. 2 down 11 to go..LOL. Eric's going today to get 2 more and hopefully those will go in over this next weekend!

Yesterday we took the kids to the New York State Museum ( it's FREE) again..they, of course, loved it. Noah was with his Bio-father.. this is all new , him spending time with Michael.. it's weird and I am still not 100% sur ehow to deal with it. But I guess they had a good time, they went to a museum and the Big E!

now we are just doing some schoolwork then Eric is taking the 3 younger ones to the library and to Home Depot! This afternoon Declan has Acrobatics and Ziah has Tap/Jazz!

You are one busy gal!
We didn't do anything too special this weekend. Last week we went to the local fair and then last night was the boys' first night ever at AWANA's and they had a total blast! Other than that, not much! Monday's we would normally have DS's drama class but its cancelled for today so we'll hopefully have a semi leisurely day at home!

We ended up hanging around here on Saturday instead of taking the kids out like we had planned. The weather was too nasty from hurricane Ike to plan anything out of the house! It was very nice to just be home...the five of us...for a change. It's been a while!
Church yesterday and Awanas/youth last night. Sundays are always busy days.

We went to a friend's house for a cookout and then we went to an ice cream social at church for dessert on Saturday. That was fun

Mmm... my weekend sucked, lol. Got in a biiiiig argument/disagreement thing with the inlaws, which DH is actually volunteering to sort out. Mainly because it wasn't *me* that got into it. I actually never even said anything. I just heard the conversation between DH and his family, and he is tired of my having to deal with the junk they throw at me, and I don't feel like having the argument that will ensue when the issues are addressed... they're his family. ;-) So, he can have the honour (and pleasure)...

Anyway, other than that... church yesterday morning. Watched a video with DH last night. That's about it. Oh, and groceries on Saturday evening.

Well Dh and I have declared this the weekend/week of US. Meaning we are focusing extra hard on spending time together and just making each other happy. Unfortunately we don't have sitters or anything so we can't go anywhere completely alone, but we went out for coffee together and a couple of walks in the rain and splashed each other in the puddles. We rented a bunch of videos and we've been cooking and cleaning together too. He is on vacation all week so we are planning as many fieldtrips as we can with the kids until he goes back to work.

We spent the day at home Saturday due to the effects of Ike. We only got the westward outter bands of the hurricane (while it was a cat 1), so just some wind & rain. We were supposed to have the first soccer games of the season, but they were cancelled for weather. Sunday we decided to take the boat out to the lake & do some fishing. We caught a couple of good ones, several small ones, & I ended up in the lake! I totally fell off the boat! You can read the story here if curiosity gets the better of you.

I ordered MY and DH's school books and talked to an old friend. I've been in a lot of pain but I found a dentist that take my insurance and will take me tomorrow.

Well, I guess it depends on what you call fun. LOL Saturday, I was PMSing and hormonal and I spent the entire day curled up with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I finished it at 3am and then I was sad that I have no more HP books to read. Not to mention, I should have never read the 7th book when I was hormonal...I cried at every little thing! Hedwig, Fred (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Lupin, Tonks, Moody - Sirius, James, and Lily and Harry asking "Does it hurt?" and asking them to stay with him. I just bawled. Can you spell LOSER? LOL

Sunday, I cleaned the house.

Wow...what a weekend, eh?

We had a nice relaxing weekend. I got some shopping done for baby and I am still borderline nesting. I've actually accomplished quite a bit. I wish this type of energy/craziness would stick around more often.

We had Doug Sunday, Monday, and Today and we've just been spending time as a family and doing things if we felt like it. It's been awesome. We took the boys to Busch Gardens yesterday. Other than that we've been veggin' out!
