WOW...I can not believe it's October already.. This has been a crazy few months for our hours, but I can already feel the positive energy filling in all the negative we've had..so I am hopeful October is a great month for us!

What's on everyone's agenda for the next few days?

I have to take Noah to get some school clothes then wait to here exactly when he starts.. he's excited which is good! Saturday is Ziah and Taejan's joint birthday party and Nutcracker rehearsal's start for Noah. Add in all the normal Karate and dance and such and we'll be just as busy as ever!

So has Noah decided to stay there with you all and just go to Highschool there for now? If so, that is great!

We have nothing exciting planned for October other than to just start enjoying the coming of the "Holiday months."

This was supposed to be a slow week for us since we were out everywhere last week, but I heard about this mega huge consignment sale this weekend that I'm really looking forward to- tomorrow was also supposed to be our park day but now the little one has fallen ill so I guess I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the week!

We are busier than I like to be. I'm used to just staying home most of the time. Now soccer has started & Jack has his 4H food & nutrition group as well. We have soccer practice M, T, & Th (2 hours each night); 4H on Wed (4 hours); & soccer games on Sat (varies). Then Jack has 2 food challenges (think Iron Chef) this month with the 4H group. I know that probably doesn't sound too busy to some, but for us it's crazy busy! I feel like I'm constantly running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

We've got a homeschool board games thing happening at the library on Friday, which we may go to. I haven't quite decided if we will or not yet.

One of our friends is coming to VA from NY (state) on the 11th, so we'll be heading out to visit with him, and because he happens to be going to an area where DH knows like... a half dozen or more people (and said friend is mutual friends with those people), we'll be getting together with them as well.

Then... Thanksgiving!! We're celebrating Canadian thanksgiving two Mondays from now... the 13th. I have to get my little pumpkins ready... I want *real* pumpkin pie! I just couldn't give up *my* Thanksgiving, lol. My parents will be here until the day before American Thanksgiving, so I think we'll be doing that one a day early. Maybe Mum will cook?? That'd be nice, LOL!

And, after the 13th, it's really just "wind down" to the baby coming. Or something like that. My niece will be a whole 3-4 weeks away from finished gr. 1, my nephew will be almost 1/2 way through kindergarten. And, we'll be taking 1 month fully off, possibly two, depending on when the baby actually DOES show up...

Finally, we're *planning* on having a baby at the end of the month! Well, who knows if that will happen. Being due on the last day kinda makes it so it could go either way, doesn't it... :-)

Cameron's 7th birthday is Friday so we're going to Red Lobster for lunch that day and then Jamie will take the older three to the mall play place. That morning Cameron and Adrian have doctors appointments.

Other than that... ummm... Ani has Brownies next week and then twice a month through May. She has Achievement at church twice a month, too. The 11th she's going to an encampment for Brownies. Who knows what else we'll be doing.
