spring cleaning, regular cleaning. I got my papers graded this morning. I only have 2 weeks of school left. My kids are finishing up half of their subjects this week. The weather is going to be nice. I was busy last week, so I am going to enjoy this slow week. Tonight, I am going to a jewelry party and shopping on Friday.

That sounds great!! Perfect time of year, too.

Today was our first day back after the break. Didn't go so well because I'm still not organized (or even unpacked!) and we had to finish in a hurry to make it to a workshop in time. (Had a very informal workshop/playdate this morning about the workbox system)

This week is more of the same old stuff mostly. Bible is finishing up Daniel, science is the "bug" distinction within the insect world (because not all insects are bugs), social studies is more TX stuff.

I am cleaning and reorgnizing our bookcase of homeschool books and materials. This Tuesday we began day 1 of our two week study on Australia.

This week we are focusing on the geography of the Continent. country, people, language, and music. Next we we focus on the great barrier reef which is loated off the coast of Queensland. We will be learning about the animals of Australia in the sea and on land and we will be doing some crafts.
