I've been MIA all morning... sorry! I'm crazy swamped with stuff for work and home today. Ben got a ton of school work done today, though (because dh was unexpectedly home on Friday and we didn't finish everything).

Tomorrow is bowling and vision therapy. Wed is physical therapy & church. Thur and Fri are our (mostly) nothing days, so we'll either schedule a playdate or do a lot of school those two days. (The pest control people are scheduled for a routine visit, but that shouldn't take long.) I have a Barefoot Books event to work at this weekend. That'll be fun.

Just hoping Jenn will send some rain my way BEFORE Saturday!

We have state testing this week. Alyssia had reading today. Alexis has reading tomorrow. Alyssia has math Wednesday(and it's also her birthday). Alexis has math on Thursday. So very slow week with our schooling, we're doing mostly bare minimum stuff, catching up on things we need caught up and getting some other stuff out of the way.
It's nasty rainy cold out today, lol. I'm hoping it gets nicer as the week goes on. Though it likely won't, spring is notoriously wet here.

I'm still trying to get over this bronchitis/cold/sinus infection thing I've got going on. Hoping it doesn't trigger a migraine, but it doesn't look good.

Still recovering from the c-section, though I think I'm finally out of the misery part of it, thank the Lord. I did sneeze yesterday and didn't have enough warning to suppress it so it hurt pretty bad, but other than sneezes/coughs/jokes that are a little too funny, I'm in a lot less pain this week.

Strangely, DH had to get surgery on his hernia a few days ago, somewhat unexpectedly. It became "irreducible" so they surgically put stuff back where it goes and put a mesh screen in his abdomen to hold it in. So we both have sore bellies! He is doing a lot better than I feared he might, so it's really not as bad as it could be, with both of us having belly surgery within 2.5 weeks of each other and having 5 kids running around.

Other than that, since DH is out of work for 4-6 weeks, we are just hanging out getting used to the new schedule (or lack thereof). I'm actually getting a lot of school done lately b/c DH has been making lunch and that saves me 40 minutes or more of making lunch, distributing it, and clean up. He has been doing all that since he doesn't feel like sitting around the entire day and that way I have been doing school, stopping to eat, and getting right back to it. At least maybe we can catch up a bit this month.

Nothing else exciting going on this week that I know of.
Mom to Titus (12), Isaiah (10), Noelle (8), Joel (6), Hannah (4), Elijah (1), and baby due Nov 4!

Tara, will be praying for you and your DH!

I've slowed down all other subjects while we focus more than usual on phonics, math and handwriting and DS is making awesome progress. Very exciting.

DH had a job interview Monday morning (the second after the first one with this company last week) and was told they want him to take the job and will have a formal proposal for him by next Monday so we're praying that comes to pass and that it's an offer he can accept. It could potentially be an awesome opportunity for us to get our debt paid off much sooner. Please be praying!
