I came across a link that tells you when and how to plant you stuff. You enter in your zip and it gives you your info!

Lol!! I guess it helps you out then huh!!?!! Lol!! I forgot all about it until I started going through my seed packets and then we were discussing what we want to grow new this year. Whitney asked for lima beans which I have not grown before but I dont expect it to be a whole lot different than bush green beans.
Oh and a good idea, if you guys eat pudding out of those plastic little containers, clean them out and pike some holes in the bottom of them to use as little seed starting containers. ;-)
We are excited as we get to plant peas in a couple of weeks which will be our first thing of the year.

Ooh...! I hadn't thought about pudding cups. We don't have any, but it's a good idea. I think we may have some disposable cups, though. I know we have a couple of sour cream containers.

We usually use egg cartons too. I tend to save them for art lessons and crafts anyway, but my mom also saves them so we get hers too, lol.
Seeds don't need a ton of dirt to get started. The less you use, the more likely they are to build a good root base/ball so when you transplant them it will be less of a shock.
