Hi, everyone!
Happy Saturday!!
What's on your plate for today?

We told Reilly, at the beginning of the summer, that if she read 20 books out loud we would take her to a water park here in town. Well, yesterday, she completed her 20th book! (It only took 3 months! Tee hee!) She is SO excited that she can hardly STAND it! Unfortunately, there is a 40% chance of rain today and the high is only supposed to be 82, so I'M not looking forward to going swimming too much! BUT, I'm game to going because I'm very proud of her. She can be kind of hard to motivate because she mainly wants to do things in her own time frame, on her own terms, so saying, "If you do X you'll get Y" sometimes doesn't work.
So, off to the water park we go! Unless it's actively raining, in which case we'll go to Plan C (I refuse to say Plan B - that phrase is ruined!)....now I just have to figure out an "acceptable" plan c!

Nothing! Absolutely, wonderfully nothing.
By nothing, I mean that we have nowhere to go. However, I do need to get my bathrooms cleaned and do some dusting. I also have some more vacation planning to do. I spent over 4 hours at the computer yesterday making my "book" for the parks. I have been worried that I haven't done this, but just wasn't motivated to until yesterday. I had a fun time doing it. Also, last school year, I keep a little log of what we did each week in school. I have it in Microsoft word. Well, I have decided to write it all in my journal. I feel bad that I haven't written in the journal since starting my Blog. I am going to try to do both from now on.
Have a great day, whatever you plan.

Way to go reilly! enjoy the water park!

As for my weekend Well I got sick Friday night so I didn't really do anything on Sataday and don't plan to much today either. Dh took dd to the south schools spring fair. he said he didn't get to see a thing but dd had a great time! She went on the jumping castle twice, the school playground twice, had some junk food and got her face painted.
I had a 'lovely' surprise when they got home to find face paint all over her new white T-shirt becasue she obvously didn't like the feel of it on her skin and she had been rubbing it off! I'm soaking the shirt in nappy-san so we will see. Just as well it was only target.

Now ask me about next weekend!

We just got home from a 3 hour soccer clinic day! I'm exhausted! I know Jack must be. But they have their 1st game next weekend and have only had 1 practice. Most of the kids on the team have never played soccer before, so I guess they really needed the extra practice today. I just thought 3 hours was a bit excessive, especially in this Texas heat! Right now, I'd love nothing better than to crawl in my bed under the fan and nap for an hour. I've been up since 4am! But I still have to go cook dinner, bathe kiddos, and get them in the bed. I'll probably pass out on the couch around 9:00 & end up actually getting in bed somewhere around midnight.
