I put Dahlia to bed last night at 8:30 and she stirred a little bit at around 10:00 so I went in and gave her the pacifier and she was fine. Next thing I know I'm waking up at 4:30 to feed her! 4:30!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats 8 FREAKIN HOURS!!!!!!!!! I didn't even realize until half way through feeding her that she had slept so long! I was so excited! I'm sure it's just a one time deal but I was happy anyway! Just felt like I needed to share!

That is huge!!!

Don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen consistently at first...it is a sign of what is to come. That is how it will start. She will either continue or slowly make it her routine. Either way, you can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Whoohooo! It's a great feeling when they begine to sleep some solid hours. Just a thought, but when mine started that, I would feed them at the 10.00pm stir then they would go 8 hours till 6am. I can't even remember when I droped the 10pm feed, it's only those 2-4am feeds that stay burned in my mind!

Luckily this time I actually didn't wake up until 4:30 to hear her crying for me. It freaks me out when I wake up and she isn't up yet.

I don't figure that this will happen every night quite yet but I will enjoy it when it comes! Tonight I did feed her at 9:15 and she was in bed by about 9:30. I try to keep bedtime somewhere around 9ish. Hopefully she will get a good stretch of sleep!
