For the first 12 months of Fritz's life I weighed and measured and photographed him each month on the 11th - the day he turned the next month old. Once the kids hit a year I weigh and measure them every 3 months and then once they hit 2 I do it every 6 months. Yesterday I was talking to my friend and said Fritz was "almost" 13 months and then I said "wait a minute, what's today's date?" He had already been 13 months old for 4 days. I had totally missed the 11th this month. It was just really funny to me since as long as I knew I had to get that weight and length and picture I never missed it but as soon as I didn't the day went by without me noticing.

LOL! I can so relate. With the first few children I could give their ages practically down to the day. Now, when folks ask me how old my children are I really do have to stop and think!

LOL! That's too funny!

Now, what's sad for me is that I forget how old I am! Seriously, my birthday is coming up and I've had to stop several times and think, "Now, am I going to be 31? Or 32?" (FTR: I'm going to be 32...but I feel like I'm 25! OK, OK, some days I feel like I'm 12...)
