When your LO received their shots, did they get a treat afterwards? I'm just curious
I remember when I was little getting a cookie after mine!

My older 2 got lollipops after theirs once they were over 1, they were the kind with the stick in a loop. We still go to the same place but they don't give the lollipops anymore, they give stickers - they have a dowel on the wall that holds several rolls of stickers for the kids to choose from, mostly popular cartoon characters.

After my sons first round of vax, which was in New Orleans, we got a tiny little dropper bottle of grape infant tylenol - that was a handy freebie, we gave it to him right away!

Oh and once we were given a bib, I forget after which shot though, and it's long sin e been stained and tossed.

We get stickers at all doctor appointments. But at well-child checks, they get a book! It's a great project that they have here that donates books for child well checks. It's a board book until they get a bit older and then it's a bigger kid book. So cool.

Then, of course, mommy takes them for a treat. My youngest starts Kindergarten in the fall and we'll be going for shots pretty soon. Based on how the flu shot went this year, it's not going to be very fun. But she is SO looking forward to Kindergarten, I am hoping that will make it easier.

My son doesn't get any treats from the doctor but I try to get him something or take him somewhere to play that day or the next.

When I took Jack for his last round of shots before kindergarten, he was so apprehensive.... he really made me proud when he marched up tot he door of the clinic and said the the first person he saw in a white coat "I'm Jack, I'm 5, an I'm brave - I'm ready for my shot!"
