Thanks so much for all your feedback we are listening and working on solutions so bear with us. We need your help to help this transition go smoothly. You can help by answering membersí questions and by trying to provide positive responses to member concerns. We care very much about our members and we rely on our hosts to help keep JM a happy and fun place. So with that said, here are a few updates you can share with your members.

Since there has been a lot of feedback about the forumís width we are working on a solution to help with this. We will be creating a forum option that allows members to choose between a variable width format or a fixed width format. There will still be a column for advertisers on both options, but the variable width format will reduce the blue background so that the forum size will be wider. This may make the user experience better for those with a wider monitor. For the time being we will continue to offer the Classic version of JM until the final solution is developed. Once it is finished you will have the option of choosing the fixed width design or the variable width design.

We will also be removing the pregnancy newsletter from the TTC forums and the grief and loss forums. This was an oversight and will be fixed.

We are still working on several bugs and they may not all be fixed when we make the switch to the new site but we plan to have all the bugs worked out as quickly as possible.

Another note: The articles forum at the top is intended to be for JM articles and not for articles in general. We will be adding a description to the board and also removing the ability to post new topics so there is no confusion. What is very cool about this forum is that any time a member makes a comment on one of our articles it will be placed in the forum. If a member makes a comment to an article that is in the forum, the comment will also show up on the article. This is a great way to cross promote your boards.

I will be updating the announcement with known issues soon and will also post to the thread on the need help board but would appreciate it if you could help update your members. This would be a good opportunity for you to reassure your members who might be a little nervous about the change and remind them of all the great new features like the top mommies, the forum posts being promoted throughout the site to attract new members to your boards, the ability to share your posts on Twitter, Facebook, etc. Thanks for all your help with this and for making JM such a great place!
My 3yr old son Landan died 23hrs after being diagnosed with Meningococcal Meningitis. It is a potentially vaccine preventable disease. The vaccine isn't on the schedule until 11-12yrs but is approved for use at age 2yrs. Our second son received the vaccine in December 2010 when he was 2yrs old. My son & thousands of other children prove that a vaccine is needed at a younger age.
