Since ya'll are the ones I confide in most about ds, I am just so excited to share the progress he has been making. A few weeks ago he asked a question for the first time ever, and now he is engaging in actual conversations with dh and I!! I mean actually answering questions and trying to keep a conversation going ! And I tell you, as exhausting as it has been having him home for holiday break, we're really getting the chance to reconnect because he isn't so exhausted and crabby from school. The other day he said I was a sweet mommy, and today he said he likes hanging out with me. That may sound pretty mundane, but up until now he was telling me to "Go to work" or that he wanted a bunny for a mommy Don't mind me; I'm just having a sappy, proud mama bear moment
