I carried all my babies, I didnt use any "device" for it lol, just my arms, grew awesome muscles BTW. I tried sling and it didnt work for us, so I just carried them. Either popped the baby on my shoulder and supported bum with my arms (trying to explain the positions, so maybe not too accurate, but hopefully you get the idea), or had baby laying in my arm.

I used a Moby Wrap when she was little, which was GREAT, and sometimes still use a ring sling now that she's older (2.5) like when we go to a big city and its too crowded for a stroller and our car wouldnt' fit it anyway (like NYC at Christmastime!).

I wear Isabel, but I didn't wear Brinlee. I've had a peanut shell, Babyhawk, and Beco Butterfly II. I love my Beco! I still have my PS, but I sold my Babyhawk to a mama on the AP board. I liked my BH, but I have rheumatoid arthritis, and it was too difficult for me to tie into knots at times. I needed buckles.

I didn't wear ds much because he was so big,but once in a while I wore him in my homemade mei tai. With dd I started out with an Ergo, but once I lost the baby weight it was too big. Then I used a pouch until she got too heavy. Now I have a Ball Baby Overall Mei Tai (a cross between a wrap and a mei tai) and a ring sling. I like the mei tai for long bouts of babywearing or if dd needs to be wor while cooking dinner, and the ring sling for when I need "popability"

OHHHH I wanted a Mei Tei so badly!! I know I couldve made one, but that was too much lol I just had a sling pouch, I think it was mamawear...but I cant really remember. I didnt use it after he was about 4 or 5 months, cuase he was just to big and heavy and my back is SO bad that it hurt. I wore it for the last time at the airport when him and I flew to Florida and wow...it hurt lol. It was a good brand sling and such...just with my bad back and the weight not being fully distributed, it hurt. I really think I wouldve worked better with a mei tei. I will go search my photobucket and see if the pic is on there that I have, if it is I will edit my post and add it
OK found it! This is pretty old, it was back in June when I was still super fat! I have lost about 18lbs since then

I had a Snugli back when Avery was little. I actually used it a lot for doing chores around the house and stuff. When Quinn was born I bought a ring sling and hated it. Now I know that it's just not a very well-liked brand, but then I just blamed it on ring slings. I had a hip hammock with him too and HATED it. Now I have a mei tai and love it! I can still wear him as a toddler and it doesn't really bother my back. I just bought a different ring sling to use with my daycare babies. I hope that I love it.

I tried several different slings. Carter hated them all. He only likes being carried in my arms...even as a tiny baby that was the way it was.

I hated the slings I had. I have huge boobies and the slings I had didn't fit me well and they usually bothered me. I didn't like wearing them.
