Since it's flu season...or at least almost....do you advocate for your non vax status? Or do you just remain silent? Do you tell someone who asks...no i dont get a flu shot because I do xyz to resist the flu strains...or do you just tell them you dont get the shot? Just curious what your plans for advocacy or not are this season....

I sometimes think having an index card with information on it in my purse would be a great idea....with phrases or information or websites to hand out...lol...

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

This will be the first year I will not get the flu vaccine. I am a health care provider so I have always gotten it, so we shall see how this year goes If someone asks me I will not lie and I will tell them about vit D, healthy eating, etc.

Last year was the only year I did get a flu vax-bullied into it since I was pregnant. I've never really had anyone question me about it. I'm sure my MIL will expect us to get it for her, but my response will be "I never got a flu shot growing up, and only had the flu 3 times in my life, so I don't think its necessary to vaccinate against it." If anyone else asks, I'll give them the same response.

I usually just tell people we are not getting it. Last year, with the H1N1 "scare" even my mother was a tad nuts about trying to convince us to get it so I sent her several pages of information on why we weren't and now she's against vaxing too!
