Not new to JM, but new to this forum. I'm due June 28 but expect I will deliver on my 37th birthday which is July 5th. I had to see an RE and get a lot of tests done, then one cycle of clomid and here I am! I've seem my little bean once already and go again Wednesday to see it again. After my 1st trimester the RE will refer me to an OB. I have a lot of fears of course, and worry constantly about every little ache or pain. My sister tells me to go ahead and do what I normally do as she did. LOL I tell her hey, you were NINETEEN and TWENTY when you had your two. Add 16 years to that and you would be as paranoid as I am! I raise and show miniature horses, so next show season is pretty much out, as the first show is in May. Thinking I may be a tad big to be running . Have 6 babies coming next year March through June, and thankfully have enough help lined up!

Just a quick intro. I am a SMBC, too.

Hi, Mary! I'm so excited for you! For a second I got confused, and saw "six babies coming next year" and thought, OMG poor girl! But I realize you meant horses, lol.

I'm 39 and pregnant with my first, and did everything just like I always did (except the weekend bourbon), and everything has worked out great. Of course I worried, too, I really needed to stay active and normal to keep my sanity.

I hope everything keeps on working out for you, and that your little bean grows into a watermelon in no time! Keep us posted on your progress!

We started our family 2 years ago when I was 34. Had my second at 35 and HOPEFULLY...I'll find out in a week if I can expect my 3rd at 36 Three under three sounds quite crazy, but I know at my age I can't really keep putting things off if I want at least 3 children. Good luck to you! I did things normally, but both of my pregnancies ended up with preterm labor multiple times, but I was able to hold off both babies until 37 weeks with medication. (one baby was 4# 15oz and the other 5 # 8 oz) The doctor said my fears of it being "irresponsible" to try for another after such complications are just that...fears. Both of my babies were sent home on time without any problems after the c sections, so we will try one more time. Very excited for you!
