How many ob/gyn doctors do you see? The office I go to rotates 6 of them over the course of the pregnancy. This is supposedly so you will get to meet all of them, since there is no telling which one will be on call when the baby arrives.

Out of my 6, there is one who delivered my baby last year, and another one that I feel quite comfortable with because of how thorough he is and how well he listens to my questions and explains things to me. I've really not had much time with the other 4 except a brief visit for measuring & heartbeat.

With a planned c-section this time, the doctor on the calendar is one of the 4 I am not as familiar with. Its making me a little nervous, but I'm sure he is just as qualified as the others to do the job. I'm just not sure whether to stick with the plan, or try to change days to get a doctor I am more familiar with.

I see only 1 doc, but there are 4-5 others in the practice. I believe mine will come at any time to do a delivery.

I think if you can, it might be worth it to switch days so you get a doc you're comfortable with.
