Hey ladies,

I'm Nicole, 24, single mommy to my princess LynJ, 2.

I've lurked here for ages now but never really posted anything.

I am a possible future surrogate for my niece. She and her husband have struggled with infertility for a very long time and after many years and many heartbreaks we talked about it. Then, I was only 19 and far from ready to do anything like that so it was always a "maybe in the future". Then after I had my daughter, at 22, I knew for sure it was something I wanted to do for them.

To them and maybe even to myself, I was still too young but a few months later they got a very unexpected surprise. My niece was pregnant and scared. After 26ish weeks and most of that on bed rest, he came into this world. My great-nephew Joey will be a year this Feb and they and I have been talking about it again.

It won't be anytime soon and it's still a maybe, but if they need me I am here for them to be their surrogate.

The only step we have taken is counselling and we're on standby.

Just right now I can't wait for lil' Joey's 1st birthday!

Nicole that is beautiful you would offer for family. Sounds like it would be a very risky pregnancy if she did carry again. It's a big step but well worth the outcome! You are even in a Texas which is a very surro friendly state as far as them going onto the birth certificate. Enjoy your nephew!
