Hey Ya'll mind if I pop in with a question! My DD went to her 4mo appt yesterday and she dropped down of of her weight curve 2 curves below.... I am EBF so the Doc said supplement, well I don't want to, not with formula at least.... I do pump, have always... don't get as much as I used to cause I stopped pumping daily after 8 weeks, I had a nice stash at that point, I am not returning to work but like to have a stash

So I am going to nurse nurse nurse AND pump.... she sleeps through the night (this week at least, LOL) so I am doing evening power pumping and I am going to try to drag myself up in the middle of the night.

This leads me to my question.... should I rent a hospital grade for a month? is one really more effective then my Medela Pump in Style? I can get the Ameda or The Medela Lactina?

It is better then my PIS?

Big time thanks to jmmysterymaker for my WONDERFUL siggie!

I just saw your post. The Medela symphony I used at the hospital was definitely better than the Medela pis.
Have you checked with your insurance to see if they cover the purchase of a pump?
Mine is covering the purchase of my pump.

i have a medela symphony. It expensive but ill never buy another pump. Its amazing. It will help boost your supply. I'm also able to pump almost twice as much with it then other pumps.

Have you thought about waking your baby to feed at night? We had weight problems at first so i would wake a feed.
