What is your budget for the big day?
Do you think you will keep it ?
How do you keep track of wedding expenses?

We never set a maximum dollar amount however neither us nor our parents are huge amounts of money so we have always looked for the best deals. Our photographer, Baker, and DJ are all people who have small side business although our photographer has really expanded her business over the past year that we have been working with her. Going this route has helped us save some $$ as opposed to going through a big known busniess for these services. And our caterer is a family friend who is only charging us the cost of food plus what he has to pay his help (I used to work for his catering business so I know its good food!)

I honestly haven't totalled up what all of our expenses are because I don't want to know! Lol. I would say just a quick estimate would be $7,000 - $10,000.

Its crazy what we spend for one day!

Thank you Quantum_Leap for my fabulous signature!!!

We're estimating about €15,000 but hopefully it will be under that. The meal is what's costing most, €8,500 just for that

We would like to stay between $10,000- $15,000. We are saving for a few years though so our budget is on the higher end
