Do you find you get better prices online? If so what store do you go through? Are tinctures better than teas? Thank you

I prefer tinctures for labor, they work faster than teas and the total amount you need to intake is less - given the flavors of some herbs for birth this can be a very good thing.

I get my tinctures from - Herbal Extracts from Mountain Meadow Herbs they have good customer service and they will work with you to create any tincture you need. I really cannot recommend them highly enough!

As for teas and essential oils - if I can find someone running a coop or if I need enough stuff I order from Frontier (https://wholesale.frontiercoop.com/w...aleCatalog.pdf and https://wholesale.frontiercoop.com/w...aleCatalog.pdf) but more often than that I will simply hit the local health food store - which ironically carries only Frontier loose-leaf teas and EO's.

Ameriherb has good prices, but you have to order at least a pound at a time. They also sell gelatin capsules. If you know how to make your own tinctures and teas, they are about the best IME. I get not only medicinal herbs, but my cooking herbs and spices there. Their curry and chili powders are the BEST and their vanilla beans are very good quality for making your own real vanilla extract.

I purchase all of mine through the natural foods store about 15 miles from us. If I can't find them there, I get them from a different natural foods store closer to the Twin Cities.

I've always bought mine at the local natural foods store. They usually have everything I've looked for.

I usually hit up our local natural foods store as well. I also prefer the tinctures for labor and pregnancy related things.
