Lily will be 19 months this week and the baby is due in 5 weeks, so she might be 20 months when baby comes. We've had her playing a lot with her baby dolls lately and I've even pretended to nurse them to see how she reacts. Usually, she'll just pick up another doll and try to nurse it, but sometimes she hits the doll and tries to pull it away from me. We're just trying to somewhat prep her for sharing me a bit. She freaks out when DH and I hug/kiss in front of her and tries to get between us, so I'm a little bit worried.

If you ask her where her baby sister is she will either point to my belly or point to hers...so she "gets" that baby is in a belly at least.
