and I realized I haven't done any sort of planning for this baby! We're done moving but are still in the works of getting everything settled.

I however have decided that I will be setting up for the birth in our playroom/basement area. It's finished, has a couch and a full bathroom. So I can lay down if I want, go to the bathroom all without having to walk up stairs. If I want/need a drink jason can walk up the 5 steps to the kitchen haha. I remember laboring on my bed during Dane and if I did that during Bishop's birth I would never make it back down the 8 steps. I know it sounds silly but the thought of walking up steps during birth does not appeal to me, at all. Nope, nada.

Next midwife appointment is on Tuesday My scale says I've lost weight so hopefully its right!

I feel the same way about not planning for the baby! Every time a new week goes by on my ticker, I think "I can't believe I'm __ weeks and I haven't done anything" LOL Now it's getting seriously close though, I'd better do something

I agree with you about the stairs. I'm really glad we have our little apartment on the lower level of the house. I don't think I'll be going upstairs for anything. Our water filters are upstairs, so I think I'm going to fill some pitchers with water and put in the fridge so I won't have to go up there, and if I want some tea (we have this awesome feature on our sink that puts out water hot enough for tea) then I'll send up DH to get it or use the kettle on our hot plate down here. I really can't imagine going up and down stairs while in labor. There's just too much pressure going on down there if you know what I mean

Thank You, Pattyandthemoos, for my beautiful siggy!
