DH, midwife, midwife assistant, Doula, photographer. Possibly a friend to help with the kids depending on what time active labor kicks in.

Most likely Dh, ds1, dd, and ds2 (who I HOPE to goodness will be asleep, little stinker). If we had something "strange" like breech or twins then I'd might ask my bff (who has also UC'd twice) and/or her MIL (a 20 L&D RN vet) to come over. And that means bff's 3 also (they'll be almost 5, 2 1/2, and 9mo).

My husband, midwife, her student and another student. Thats it. The boys will probably be here during early labor but eventually go to my moms.

DH, midwife, midwife's assitant, the kids, my sister, my mom and possibly my MIL. If the kids can't handle whats going on, or they get bored or whatever, they'll be taken out and entertained by my sister, mom, or MIL. Or my FIL will be there to watch over the kiddos. I'd really like them to be preasent but they're still young and might not be able to handle it. My sister has been present for both births, and my mom was there for Rain's birth, MIL was there for the twins (it's a long story), both were helpful though a few times I had to send them out of the room. Luckily they listen well, or else they deal with my sister. That's the rule, she's a bulldog when I'm giving birth! She's always there, DH is too busy focusing on me, and I don't want to have to deal with getting people out if I'm not comfortable, so that's her job. She's good at it too.

DH, My midwife, her assistant/student, maybe another student, and hopefully my mom and sisters, and DS so long as he's handling it all ok. If he doesn't handle it well, or I'm having trouble focusing, one of my sisters will take him. if my mom and sisters don't make it in time (like last time), I will have a friend on call to take him.

With Nola, it was just DH and I and my MW and her assistant. Kailey was sleeping but woke up to see me push Nola out.

I'm thinking it will be me, hubby, midwife and my son; but my son will only be two by then, so we may have to send him off to the grandparents' house. If my sister-in-law or mother-in-law want to attend, I will consider it...
