I had my 38 week appointment this morning. I thought it was at 11am but it was at 1130am haha. Whoops. I guess since I woke up late it means everything else should be going randomly different as well!

Jason had to work so it was just the boys and I.. oh joy. Everything looks good. Glucose is normal, protein is negative. I have started to have a wee bit swelling but nothing of concern since everything else is fine. The heat and humidity don't help. My BP was 122/78. Just a little higher and it was because the boys were driving me crazy haha. I haven't lost or gained any weight. Bishop's heartbeat was 144bpm I love hearing it but I cannot wait to see him.

I got my tub! YAY! I'm all set. So if labor happens, I'm good to go. Finally. It only took me 38 weeks of pregnancy to become ready for the birth haha. We finished our shopping yesterday and only had 1 thing left which was a hose attachment. But they have a few in the tub stuff so hopefully one will fit our faucets

I don't have an appointment set up for 39 weeks because my midwife wasn't there today. She'll call me to set it up. She's out of town but only 15 minutes from where I live about 30 from her. So if I go into labor its no big concern, she'll just get here quicker haha.

I'm ready to have him. However my anxiety is still high on the rise. I know i'll get over it. Its just the anxiety of the anticipation of when he'll be here, when I'll go into labor and all that fun stuff. Since I don't know, everyday is a waiting game and that isn't helping to my anxieties. However the feelings are thankfully normal.

All in all, a good appointment

So glad you are doing well! Those last few weeks are hard with so many unknowns. Can't wait to hear all about your little ones arrival

Sounds great....I'm not even pregnant (yet)....but I have anxiety. LOL....I think it's only natural to worry and have anxious concerns....all the unknowns are insane LOL...but worth it! Can't wait to hear your story!!!!

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

I'm glad the appointment went well. I hear ya on that end of pregnancy anxiety. I definitely had it with Kate's pregnancy. Part of me feels like I missed out with Paul's since he was early and I was totally unprepared!!

Glad everything is going good!

I'm with you on the part about being anxious...mostly because I want/need so much for my mom to be here this time, and I just wish I knew when exactly to tell her to head this way...But, I can't! Oh well, it will all work out, right?

Hang in there!
