Did you have a space set up to birth in? if so, where in your house was it? How did you prepare that space?

With DS#1 we had all the supplies in rubbermaid bins in the living room, as we knew the only place for the birth pool to fit was to move our dining table against the wall and put it there (we were living in a teeny tiny 2br apartment, probably only 600sqft)

For this birth, I have everything in plastic pins untop of the fridge so DS doesn't get into them. We'll be birthing in the living room/dining room again, just moving the futon against a different wall or maybe into DS's room. Will be getting the pool next week!

with Kya we were living in a super small house so the only room for the tub was directly in front of the pantry door between the living and dining rooms and left just enough space to open the front door on the other side.... so, yeah... we didn't set up the tub until I was in labor. We did however put a plastic sheet on our bed just in case my water broke there
