What did you eat after your baby was born? Did you find that you were really hungry?

My MW made use cheesey scrambled eggs and toast. I wasn't super hungry. I don't think I want eggs again this time, but who knows! Thinking may have DH start cooking something in the crock pot when labor starts or may order pizza, pending the time.

With my son I wasn't hungry but they made me eat before we left (failed home birth turned short hospital stay).

I wasn't hungry at all but my midwife encouraged me to eat, my husband made me toast and some fruit.

I have no idea. Anabela was transferred to the hospital so it was hours and hours before I even slept. I can't remember if I ate before that night (and she was born at 5 am) I imagine someone must have given me something to eat??? Maybe some water? I guess I didn't care.
FWIW - I lost all my pregnancy weight the week she was in the hospital - now one of the things I tell people who say they know someone with a baby is the nicu is - Bring them Food!!!!

Thank you Kiliki for my first beautiful Siggie!
