I had my 40w appt today. BP, urine, baby= all fine and well. My EDD is tomorrow, well technically in less than 5 hours over here, as it's 7:45pm. I can't believe it. I know/knew that lil guy is going to follow in big brother Zane's footsteps and be late. I just pray he's not 12 days late (like Zane or any later) My next appt is next Friday at 41w and I'm going to ask her to strip my membranes. I was 41w exactly on a Friday when my MW with Zane stripped my membranes and stretched me. So I'm hoping that will help move things along. (she normally doesn't do anything until 42w but I don't want to wait that long to try to get things progressing, she said she'd be fine doing it at 41w if that's what I'd like) So I'm hoping if he's not here between now and next Friday that stripping my membranes will work and he'll be born that day, my appt is at 1. (As I hope he's not born on the 30 or 31 as he'd be sharing bdays with DH's family and Halloween and I want him to have his own day) So praying he comes soon! I cannot wait to meet him, hold him, and experience birth again. ALso looking forward to DH being off and having some help and being able to sleep- I can't get comfy and sleep at all; I miss sleeping on my tummy & I can't wait to be able to walk/bend/move without pain too. My hip/tail bone has been in pain- I just hope it doesn't fracture during birth or something- I've heard of that happening.

So hope I'll be posting with a "he's here" post soon and not a 41w appt update

sorry for the ramble! Just wanted to update ya'll!!

OH come on baby! Praying you go soon!!!! It's always great to reach that due date...but always a dread when you pass it....Baby will come when he's ready!!! But man oh man....HUGS....

Glad you are doing fabulous though...you sound pretty upbeat in general!

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

Thanks Martha! (only upbeat since I was expecting to be late- so I was prepared Doesn't even feel like i'm due tomorrow, guess Z keeps me busy/occupied, so that helps too. I'm really predicting he'll be here Nov. 2. but hoping for Oct 27th though so My birthday would be 8 days before DH's and his would be 8 days before baby #2 and the 27th is a Wednesday- Z was born on a Wednesday)

I've gone late with each of my girls. I do hope that he comes sooner rather than later. I know those last few weeks are hard on your patience and your body. Good luck!! Can't wait!
