My HB baby is 18 months....can't believe it I just talked to my midwife 3 weeks ago (my friend with a 4 week old had a question and didn't feel like she was getting anywhere with her ped so....Jill to the rescue!) I've been posting here for 3 years and still haven't figured out how to post a pic. He is just a happy little tornado that has been talking non-stop and loves brushing his teeth!

Aww congrats mamas! I cannot wait til I can share in this thread

Hey There - the easiest way I find to post a photo is to upload it to photobucket and then copy the IMG link and paste that in the thread here. Does that make sense? There are other photo sharing sites you can use, I've just always used photobucket HTH

I know we've been kinda MIA for a few months... but I hope to become a little more active again as time allows

My HB baby is doing great! Conlan just turned 6months old! He is the sweetest, happy smiley baby! He has all but cut his first two teeth, and is just starting to try to sit up and crawl a bit (just trying to scoot really). We dealt with some colic and a lot of spit up issues in the beginning, but after playing around with my diet, discovered he has a peanut sensitivity! So I stay away from peanuts(and dairy), and he's as happy as can be!

He just had his 6month well baby check on Friday. He weighed 15 lbs 11oz (wearing just a diaper), and was 26.5 inches tall. That puts him in the 47th percentile for height, and 15th for weight. The Dr wasn't at all concerned with his weight, yet! but said that if he continued down this path it could be a problem in the future... I find that rather interesting, because BE (at 5 1/2 months) was in the 37% for height, and 16th for weight. So to me it's normal for my babies. Actually, I'm slightly surprised that Conlan is anywhere near where BE was at this age, because I've always considered him to be a slower gainer than Be was. Anyway, he's got a healthy amount of chub so I'm not worried.

That's pretty much it for us! Sorry to write a book!

I love hearing all these updates!!!!
Momma to Emma, Elzie, Gretchen, Olive, and Rogan

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

We haven't been around for a long while! Evie is ten months old in two days. She is a small fry, weighing in at just over 16 lbs, but she is super tall. She is trying to walk, but hasn't quite gotten down the concept of moving her top half with her bottom half LOL She still kind of lunges forward, head first, but she definitely has balance when she's standing. She just started saying words too; Doggy, "Amah" (she calls her stuffed monkey, dunno why) Dada, Mama, and I swear she says "hi" appropriately but doubt it's really what I'm putting into it LOL I just made a slideshow of the day she was born, finished it yesterday, and can't believe we went from a wrinkly little newborn to this. Life is so amazing I cried looking at all of the pictures from that day. Almost makes me want another... ALMOST LOL

Click the blinkies!

Thank You, Pattyandthemoos, for my beautiful siggy!

I love reading these updates

My first home birth baby is 3 and full of energy but he can be so sweet and snuggly, too.

Eleanor is 2 and the sweetest little girl. Her smile lights up a room.

Max is 8 months and he's a tiny little guy but with a big laugh

This is fun!

Anabela is 10 and 1/2 months. She crawls around like a crazy girl. She's tall and thin too. She says Momamamama and Dadadadada and ahhhgeeeee (Kitty! - her first word - girl has priorities! ) She's hasn't had any complications (knock on wood and all) after her rough start.

Thank you Kiliki for my first beautiful Siggie!
