Did anyone have music at your birth? What kind? Was it planned? Pre-recorded?

And this is something that has been bothering me.....does everyone REALLY only listen to the serene mediationy music that you see in birth videos? That can't possibly be true. I mean there has to be SOMEBODY who is soothed by like Metal, or something. I did see one where a laboring mom was in her jacuzzi listening to the Eagles. Think there are women who listen to "innapropriate" music and then dub over it with the crooning angels stuff?

This is an interesting question. I don't think I could stand serene mediation music. I wouldn't mind some hip-hop cuz that stuff really gets me moving! But it would probably get on the nerves of my mother and midwife. I'll probably have Bob Marley (baby just loves him, when he comes on she kicks), or some smooth, yet rockin' reggae
